Livescan Fingerprinting
Live Scan is a digital fingerprinting solution that is shared with state and federal government repositories, such as the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), to verify individual identities and criminal background checks.
Our certified Live Scan technicians are experts in taking impressions of your fingerprints to ensure we take the highest quality and most accurate images. This is more cost effective and efficient for our clients.
Accountants (CPAs)
Whether you are just starting off in your professional career as a certified public accountant or you are renewing your license, you will need to be fingerprinted. Verify Group is here to assist you as your fingerprinting partner and we will come to you.
Who needs to be fingerprinted?
Anyone applying to be licensed as an accountant or anyone that is renewing through the California Board of Accountancy. This includes:
- Anyone not previously fingerprinted as a condition of licensure
- Anyone that does not have electronic fingerprint records
- Anyone converting from inactive to active status
Attorneys (taking state bar exam)

If you are a real estate agent, real estate broker, or require a real estate license, you will need to be Livescan fingerprinted.

Who needs to be printed?
Anyone applying for Teacher Credentialing, certification, permits and waivers must be Live Scan fingerprinted.
What do you need to bring?
- The Request for Live Scan for Teacher Credentialing
- Government-issued photo ID
- Your form of payment
Along with fingerprinting, each applicant needs to complete the Teacher Credentialing Application, either online or in a paper format.

Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technicians
Verify Group provides Livescan fingerprinting services for vocational nurses and psychiatric technicians, so if you’re in psychiatry, applying for certification, permits, waivers, or anything in between, we’re here to help.
Who needs to be printed?
Anyone applying to be a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Psychiatric Technician must be Live Scan fingerprinted.
